TS Technology Services Wins Contract Extensions
with QinetiQ Space Division
TS Technology Services, one of the industry’s leading providers of integrated supply chain service solutions to the space and defence industry, has been awarded contract extensions by QinetiQ Space Division for management and network support services. TS Technology Services has been supporting QinetiQ Space Division for the past 10 years and this extension will mean that this support will continue through to March 2009.
QinetiQ has developed, and now manages and sustains, operational systems for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) which provide the timely acquisition and delivery of global environmental information for the armed forces. TS Technology Services provides specialist network management and engineering support services to QinetiQ on a 24/7 basis, delivering core skill sets required to support these systems. The core skills requirements provided under the contract continue to evolve, reflecting technology changes developed by QinetiQ.
“To meet this challenge we regularly monitor the work mix and review the associated core skills,” advised Martin Green, General Manager of Space and Defence for TS Technology Services. “We use an extensive library of computer based training courses and specialist external training organisations where appropriate to ensure we maintain the level of engineering excellence provided to QinetiQ.”
