TS Technology Services celebrate gaining the ‘Investors in People’ Award
Management and staff at TS Technology Services of Solihull, one of the industry’s leading providers of integrated supply chain service solutions to the telecommunications market, are celebrating their success in achieving the prestigious Investors in People award on 22nd February 2007.
Following stringent independent assessments over several days, the company passed with flying colours and the final Certificate was received on 13th March.
Gaining this award put all TS Technology Services’ training, staff development and communications procedures under the spotlight during an intensive period of assessment. This included in-depth face-to-face and telephone interviews with a wide variety of staff including engineers in the field and staff all the company’s locations in the UK and involved a thorough appraisal of the company’s policies and practices for training and development.
“We see the Investors in People Award as another important step in the company’s development within the Tyco Group. It demonstrates that we have the skills and systems in place to support our staff and help them provide our customers with the high level of support they have come to expect from us,” said Kevin Scott-Cowell, MD of TS technology Services.
“We fully intend to maintain these high standards and to make sure that the entire company and its customers continue to benefit from all the efforts that we put into achieving the award,” he added.
Kevin Scott-Cowell paid tribute to the efforts of the staff for all the extra work that went into gaining the award – “We are very proud of our staff and the commitment they made above and beyond their normal workload” he said.
